Hello everyone! I'm looking for a good crossover amp that I can use for upright and electric. I currently have a Genz Shuttle 6.0 and use a Realist SoundClip. I tried a bunch of cabs last night at GC and found that cabs pulling 4 ohms sound better. The head is somewhat more 'bass guitar colored' but can really capture the warmth of my old german laminated workhorse. 12s generally sound good but I have the option to grab an Aguilar DB210 4 ohmn. What are your experiences using 10s with upright and how are Agi cabs for upright bass?
The other amp I liked last night was a Mesa Walkabout Scout. A bit colord but with some eq work sounds full and warm. What are your thoughts on that ammo over an Agi/Genz rig?
