Aguilar DB 680 users: DI Out rotary pot problem

I'm purchasing a used Aguilar DB 680 preamp.

The XLR Balanced Output pot is not correctly working (is turning continuosly, not with the 5 steps): which is the correct pot model & serial number (in order to buy & replace it) ?

Last time I had a broken part on my DB359 I called Aguilar and they had the part in stock...IMHO give them a ring.

Forgive my ignorance but a pot with five steps? That sounds more like a switch to me. What am I missing?

It's definitely a switch. I think the important factor is it's broken.
