Okay, so I have a question for all you Aguilar fans out there. I've only ever played through Ampeg, Acoustic, and a not-the-best GK Backline cab.
Since then, though, I've had a recent chance to pick up a used Aguilar DB810 for a great price. It has some obvious wear and tear from touring, but overall the cab sounds like it'd be right up my alley . My question is this:
Do these cabs have an obvious sound difference from the Standard Ampeg, or would they sound closer to something like the Markbass 8x10? I've heard this cabinet live, but it was a different genre of music than what I am about to be playing. I play more metal/punk, with a P-bass/w a pick. So, any and all answers will be greatly appreciated.
P.S.-I won't be able to play this cab before I pick it up.
