Aguilar DB115 and SL115

Are these cabs really worth the extra $?

I would love to be playing with a single 115 for small to medium gigs. Will be running either Aguilar AG700 or Aguilar TH700.

What other cabs would be a good match with these amps?

TH700 and DB115 is my primary gigging rig. It provides plenty of volume for medium gigs. The DB115 is a beautiful sounding cab.

I provided backline last night with a th500 and 2 db112s. It slayed on stage and out in the audience (small venue with vocal PA only)
Band after us had 2 Marshall half stacks and the bass could be heard no problem.

I'd love to get my hands on a db410 again or a pair db15s but I can't justify the schlep at my age

I can't overstate how far superior the db line sound is to the sl's in my opinion. Though I only have tried the 410 and 112s from that range. The trade off is that the sl410 is in the same weight range as one of my db112s

No doubt man, I have a 2 DB112 stack too. I can also confirm that it can hang with two Marshall half stacks.

The DB cabs are so good.
