Aguilar DB412, if you've ever owned or played thru one, I'm interested...

I have one. It is pretty impressive with my GK fusion 800. But, it's pretty good with every head I've paired it with. But the GK punch with the cab is addicting. It's a surprisingly efficient cab, I just wish it wasn't so heavy, and that I actually had a use for it.....

100% agree! Amazing cab and thanks for the congrats.

Thanks again everyone. I'm truly loving this rig, plus I found some settings tips for the 700RB that I've now got it pretty much dialed in. Two mistakes I was making was I was using the contour and presence in such a way I was then using the 4 EQ knobs to correct. I've found less is more on those two knobs and EQ'ing is so much simpler. The other approach is using the volume knob more like an actual volume/master rather than an input pre-gain instead. (I'm sure that sentence will not make sense, sorry). In the past I was using the Woofer knob as the overall master but now I'm very happy (and blessed). Thanks for all the good wishes and advice.

Congrats!
I own and play the GS412 and from what I understand the GS is a bit "scoopy"er than the DB.
I would love to compare the two when I get a chance.
Did you get to put it on a scale?
I wonder how much more it weighs.

Roey the spec sheet puts it at approx 150lb.but it has tilt back with casters, seems easier to move than my 2 410's which need to be lifted up, awkwardly

Pickles I'd love to try the 751 but at this point Im a bit outta "gas" or the funds to do so. Same to Rodl2005, those Bassman look sweet and saw some demo clips (Duff?) but thanks for the suggestions.

You guys rock!

@thedovewarlord

How are you enjoying the cab since you've had it a while now? Anything unexpected or that you didn't anticipate? Have you been able to really push it yet?

I've been playing some pretty big cabs these days, including an 8x10 in a new band, and I'm gassing big time. What can I say? :beaver:

@FingerDub. Thanks for checking in and thank you for digging the cab. Nothing but complete satisfaction with this rig. I didnt anticipate how easily I was able to dial-in a fantastic sound! Love this cabinet bro. I'm not a road warrior so the size/weight hasnt been a factor but just getting into my house and moving it around was easier than I expected also. Easier than a 4x10!!!

As far as pushing it, yes, a few weeks ago my band was over and we jammed out! We had the house to our selves (best wife in the world!!!). Loud, yes, but after our jam ended I wandered back downstairs (approx 1:30 am) and fired up the amp while my band was upstairs chilling out. I was told the entire house was shaking, they were cracking up. Man-made earthquake.
