Aguilar dcb soap bars low output?

Have some in one of my basses. Neck and bridge emg 40 size. Wired blend, volume, tone, passive. It's significantly quieter than my other basses. Is this normal for these pickups?
Anyone else have similar experience?

Those Ceramic pickups should be hotter and louder than average. Maybe a picture of the internal wiring might help someone here recognize a problem.
Have you tried swapping the leads on one of the pickups?

Sometimes when pickups are low output it's because they are wired out of phase. If you swap the hot and ground wires on one pickup it will change that. Could be your issue or maybe not, only one way to find out, heat up a soldering iron.

Not sure but don't think that's an issue here. There's 3 wires from each white grey and black black
And Grey are ground white is hot. I get sound just output is low compared to my p bass

That doesn't seem right as what you're describing should be series wiring and very high output. Unless your p bass pickups are just super hot.
