I’m looking for some pics of the underside of Aguilar P Bass pickups. Specifically, how the two halves interconnect. I didn’t have any luck with Google.
I have a Fender AS P5 that I would like to upgrade the pickups in, but Aguilar doesn’t make a short-long casing for drop in. My thought is combing a long (6-pole) casing with a short (4-pole) from a four string set. I’m not sure if the solder points are accessible.
Feel free to let me know if this is a horrible idea.
