Aguilar TH500 Overkill for a Practice Amp?

What about power consumption? Would that be significantly more with the TH500 than the TH350? It's not specced on Aguilar's website (that I could find.) It seems like that might be a reasonable consideration for an amp to be used at home a lot. Why burn more power than you need to. Or would the difference be negligible?

Never even considered that. But that might save some cash over the long run. But I wonder does an amp consume continuous wattage or only what you're using.

Zero issue with a class D amp. Very efficient, hence low power consumption.

Personally, I'd get a Markbass Big Bang instead. Headphone jack, aux. input with volume control, DI out with volume control, pre/post eq, and more.

Could just buying a small mixer achieve the same effect as having a built in headphone jack and input?

After you mentioned it, it would be nice to have a headphone and input for quiet morning practicing.

I think I'd enjoy a Streamliner over the Markbass big bang although I can't find that many videos about the Markbass big bang so I have no idea what it really sounds like.

Anyone know where they make the Streamliner? One thing I really like about Aguilar is everything is assembled in the United States and their customer service is top notch. I've heard Markbass isn't so great in this department and I have no idea about Genz-Benz.
