Aguilar Tone Hammer 350 - How loud is it?

The TH350 is measured in continuous watts, which means that it is musical at 400-500 watts and peaks at 600-700 watts. Aguilar is very conservative in their estimates and I've not heard the 350 for myself, but seeing as how the TH500 competes with the volume of many 800-1000 watt amps I'd gamble that it would smoke your TC Electronic, if not in volume than in tone. The TCs are great but there's nothing like Aguilar's bite and headroom.
I have the rh750 and ordered the TH350, should be arriving later this week or early next week.

I finally got my Th350 today....
Playing it along with my RH750 more than 2 hours with some basses and some cab (TC RS210/212; SWR...)
The TH350 is very very loud.... Don't let the "350" fool you!
When both amp with super flat setting (No EQ, tubetone, compressor):
1) When master and gain of RH750 is set to 12 o'clock position (which is the loudest level I used with my band), the TH350 can has similar volume level with master and gain set to around 2 o'clock;
2) When master and gain of TH350 is set to 12 o'clock position, the RH750 can has similar volume level with master and gain set to around 10 o'clock;

Hi,
You are right, it is a very subjective idea.... It's hard to explain with my poor English.
All I can say is it is enough and has very clean head room within the volume level I needed like 2 o'clock in gain and master.
I will use it some rehersal with my band later....

With a single RS210, it sounds punchy with fairly bass response.
The TH350 sounds quite similar to RH750- punchy,tight, warm.
My bass buddy and I both agreed they can be put into the same category....
The TH350 is a bit more open and mid-forwarded compared to RH750, in other words, slightly more treble and mid-mid.
The RH750 is a bit more "bassy" and a bit thicker, or it is slightly more bass and low-mid.
At this moment, I really like both and need to play TH350 in more different environments so that I can have a better feeling of this little amp.
The size and weight of TH350 wins the RH750 for sure, but the built-in tuner is so convenience in RH750.
Other features like, tube tube, compressor, 3 settings in RH750are cool but I can live without these features.

Gigged the TH350 tonight.
Room was big and boomy, could comfortably hold 300 people (function room) but there were only 120 in the room. Pretty enthusiastic crowd to be fair.
We don't play crazy loud, but we'd be punchy enough..... You usually can't talk easily on the dance floor, but we wouldn't be so loud that if you are sitting at a table in the room you can't hear each other. Perfect volume for a wedding in other words.
I was using an EBS 115 (the half size one) with an 8 ohm ceramic driver and an EBS 112 neo sitting on top of that.
I've used these cabs for the last couple of weekends with a big power amp and a tone hammer pedal, so I have a good referance point.
So..... first impressions. Really well made. Nicer than the GK MB 200 by far, feels less like a toy. Looks lovely, I like the mute switch, and the fact that the drive is more usable than the either on or off AGS switch on the pedal.
Sound is good. Nice and full and creamy, well defined with enough high end to cut through, but with a good solid pillow of bottom end. Good so far.
Ok so, I have a bit of my signal di'd out the PA straight from the DI on the amp, so I'm being pretty conservative with my stage volume as the room is so boomy.
As the dance floor fills up and the band gets a bit louder, I decide that I could do with a bit more stage volume so that I can feel the bass a bit. Unfortunately, when I get to a volume I'm comfortable with, the red clip light is illuminating pretty regularly. I think I've already reached the limit volumewise..... although it sounds great, I think it might not be up to the job of playing a big room like that. I thought that the 15 and 12 would provide enough speaker surface so that at four ohms it would be easily loud enough.... like I say I don't play at very high volume. I was using my streamer sage 2 in passive mode. I've another gig tomorrow night in a slightly smaller room, so I'll report back again. Hopefully it'll be loud enough in the smaller rooms, I don't mind breaking out the power amp for the more expansive gigs.
Maybe it's my cab set up that is holding the amp back though,(?) as I've never used a standard 500 style class D with these cabs, just the big crown power amp. I have a barefaced compact arriving soon, so I'll be interested to see how it pairs up with that.

The loudness increase from 350 watts to 500 watts is equal to 10 times the common log of (500 divided by 350). 500/350 = 1.4286, the common log is 0.1549, which multiplied by 10 = 1.549. You get a whopping 1.549 dB increase.

Don't worry about the clip light. It is an indication of clipping, or distortion. it is a visual confirmation of what you're hearing.
It can be solid red all night without anything bad happening. If it sounds good, keep turning it up!

wow! you mean guys like you play bass? how technical. I've never approached bass playing and gear consumption like that. I'm impressed. I've got to get with the technical side of things
That's possible, but they are both EBS cabs, and they both sound to me like they are working equally hard (roughly).
I will try just the 15 this weekend and see how I get on ignoring the clip light.

Mine turned up yesterday. Took me a few hours to get the hang of it. The thing that got me was how much difference the gain control made. In fact, it's the key I reckon. MORE GAIN!

I have used my TH350 into a 1x15, 2x15 and 8x10 with more than enough volume with my band, Sixpence. If you have enough cab, I think the TH350 is plenty of amp for the vast majority of players in the most ubiquitous genres!
+1 The main difference between my TH500 and my TH350 is how soon it hits the 'clipping light'. Given that the preamp going into mild clip can actually sound good, it is more of an issue of full, uncompressed, open low end on the TH500 when pushed, versus a bit more compression and grit on the TH350 (when really pushed). Not really a 'volume' issue.
And, these amps run COOL!
