Well, I have almost 40 years experience, half that touring and recording. I own a VM Fretless and I use it every gig. It is absolutely one of the nicest playing basses I've owned.

I guess I should be ashamed of myself for not being more brand concious.

i dont think the debate of this thread is the quality of squiers, but the VALUE. and its obvious that this person's asking price is hilariously off. (three times the price of a new one).

as far as the quality of squiers go, i DO think that SOME of them offer QUITE a good value.

i wouldnt mind picking up a squier fretless, and i play a MIA deluxe V J

no, mine is a precision j bass 5-string, it's a big step up from the standard, which goes for 549. this was purchased for around 800, and I can let it go for 600. it's in perfect condition.
