AHHHHH NO!! BAD NEWS!!

so i was replacing the knobs on a squier jazz bass and ya gotta wiggle em off to do so. so i get the 2 volume off NP then the tone knob comes.

i wiggled the tone pot shaft out!!! what do i do to fix this unfortunate blunder?

Trying to get that pot shaft back in correctly is an exercise in frustration and near futility.

Much, much easier to just drop in a new pot, unless, of course, it's some kind of super-weird moon-man impossible to find type pot. But I highly doubt a pot for a Squier Jazz falls under that category.

If you don't know how to solder, now's a great time to learn!
