Sorry I’m late to the show.. as stated above doing both weight and balance and being a qualified dispatcher would be great tools to have at your disposal... the dispatchers for my company make a comfortable living and it’s a sought after job... now I’m asking myself why I didn’t try for it.... I need to rest my aching back now... it’s not the 30 years of loading the cargo holds that got me.. it was my Peavey T40

Go for it TwinJet. Once you have the credentials, you can get a well paying job almost anywhere you choose. That said, it is big responsibility and a bad day on on your part could have catastrophic
results to others. But I am sure you are already very aware of this.
