Hey Everyone!,
First of all, let me say that I feel like I've joined talkbass and been asking tons of questions, I wish I had more bass playing friends!
Anyway, I've been looking around for condensers to use live, and I sumbled across this AKG C411. I've been searching talkbass and the internet for reviews and haven't had great luck. Anyone encounter one of these litte things on a DB? I've got a realist now and i'm looking for a nice mic to blend it with, mostly for high's. Anyways I don't have a lot of money to go with an AMT
but this looks like a easy to deal with alternative to buying a mic-stand and a nice condenser that might feed back. Really I am curious about the sound that they produce. It looks to me like these mics were intended for guitar and fiddle, but they also look like they could get a good sound for DB.
