Alembic F2-B Bass Preamp

Does anyone know what a good condition Alembic F2-B Bass Preamp would sell for (roughly)? I am listing one on eBay but it's hard to figure out a reasonable asking price.

Great sounding preamp, and hard to find. The single channel F1X did not sound the same as this 2 channel beast. Couple this with an early Trace Elliot power amp and...faggetaboutit!

I bought my F2B in 1977 brand new from Mannys in NYC.. I think I paid 225 for it then... I still have it I have seen them on ebay at timed for about 500 to 700.... Its my favorite preamp of all time... I have used API, NEVE and a few others Always like the Alembic F2B .. even more that the F1X.. They don't sound exactly the same.. They booth sound great but the F1X has the buttery tone going on.

I bought mine used 25 years ago for aprox $125 and sold it here for $400; it was in VERY good condition
I really don't think they actually get sold for more than that in this economy

F2B is more of a Showman tone vs the Bassman tone of the F1X.
