Alembic?

Jeez Louise on the 7 years. I havent talked to Paul in a while but he was always pretty prompt in comparison. I think there are only a few people working there, if that, and with that kind of backlog you dont have alot of bandwidth to answer people. Did you talk to him at some point and they put you on a waitlist? Did you put down a deposit or anything?
On the waitlist (supposedly), but no deposit paid at this point.
Last I heard Wal's waitlist averages 7 years currently, but that said I have no expectation to hear from anyone at this time given their communication has been non-existant and it seems they tend to prioritize artist builds over those of the average journeyman/hobbyist.

Turning it back around to the OP, I hope Alembic's wait times aren't nearly as long or as absent with communication. 🫣

If anyone reading this has made contact with them over the past two weeks, please let me know!
I happened to speak to Mary about 5 minutes ago. Mica was on the other line with someone. Friday afternoons are a terrible time to call, as the two of them are typically packing orders.

If all you need is an F-1X schematic, I'm pretty sure somebody at the Club has posted one before. I'll look around when I get to a stopping point.

*there is a schematic of the F-1X preamp in post #12 of this thread: Link Removed

I've been on the Wal list for four years now, last I checked he didn't have timeframe ...that's to be expected.

I've been trying to get parts for my SC Sig for about a year and a half now from Alembic. At first they were great - Mica is definitely a gem - but when it came time to order, I haven't received any response.

I would have gone to Moylan’s for beers and look at the bass pictures on my phone.
As mentioned, we were meeting with someone from B&W magazine. The photo lab advertised monthly and we wanted to meet up and get to meet some people we knew from there. We did go to lunch somewhere in Novato but I don't recall the place or type of food we had; I was more into getting to know our host better in person rather than just through phone calls we'd done up to that time.

Anybody here know who ended up with this guitar?

Imma post an update - Mary and Mica from Alembic both reached out via phone to me yesterday - they called multiple times to make sure I had all the options that I needed and to make sure they had a clear understanding of what was needed - they were awesome. Super, super nice, made sure they understood what happened, just all around great people. I would definitely encourage a phone call if you don't get an e-mail response.
