alesis SR16 question

Not sure if the is a Misc topic or Recording topic, so I'll start here.

I recently bought an Alesis SR16, and while I enjoy the sounds (kinda Big Black-ish), there is a problem with the pad trigger volume. While the presets are plenty loud, when I hit the trigger pads, there are barely audible, even when the volume is all the way up. Any idea what the problem could be?

Go into edit and scroll through the menu, you'll find "Velocity" it needs to be turned up.

Do you have the owners manual?

Yes ma'am, I just read about it in the owner's manual before I found your reply. Gonna try that now.

EDIT: How embarrassing. Yes, it's fine now. I even found a way to just stick the headphone plug in enough to get it in stereo too! Thanks again!
