Anyone using this thing with bass? I did a quick research in the forums and didn't find a proper discussion about it. It seems to sound killer with bass and offers a lot, I mean A LOT of options and sounds in a regular size box.

EDIT: After spending the entire day playing with it, I can say this thing rocks. But you need to understand how some effects works before randomly tweaking those knobs and getting crazy sounds.

Proud owner of a Syntax Error for about a month now and I’m really digging it. This unique pedal has many tones in it that are worth exploring on your sound input. My bass loves all the modes as they all offer a flavor (can be subtle or downright madness). Stretch has been my favorite mode with assigning the expression to the buffer or sometimes the time (sometimes both!) for some truly warped time manipulation.

Do these pedals cut signal momentarily when they're activated? I read in a review that they do but it wasn't in-depth and I could find mention of it elsewhere.
I did pass it over in my trails. I only passed on it because I have waaay too many wacky devices as it is. Looks and sounds amazing guys! I may revisit at some point, but it ain't any time soon.
Yesterday I tried mine with an Eventide H9 set for pre/post mode. The ability to have the Syntax Error before or after the H9 for each preset makes this lovely couple potentially unbeatable.

I'm a big fan of this pedal. It took some time to explore all the features and sounds but I can say I successfully integrated it into my bass setup. Unfortunately, I can't record clips but I can share some presets. If you're curious about the pedal ask me anything, the lack of clips online isn't going to to stop until this pedal become more popular, I guess.
I have one, along with an Alexander Defender. I'll record some clips later
Recording some stuff this weekend guys. will be my first review/demo so needed to get a tripod.

Huh, sorry, I musta missed the notification for this. Thanks for the attempted help. moot point, i got one and it doesn't, but one review implied the pedal muted the bass for just a moment when turned on

"Knobs" is the best pedal reviewer cinematographer and you can listen to his videos as ambient music while doing other things. and there's a Knobs video for this amazing pedal
