Not familiar with Dallas techs but wanted to say welcome to Texas. If you have any Austin questions give me a shout.

Well, there are a few good shops around. Check out Charley's guitars on Royal Lane. We have two guitar centers (one on central expressway and one near 635 and 35) There is also Zoo music in Garland. Hope that helps man.
