Yep, I have a Godin dual bucker guitar. Which reminds me, the pickup selector switch needs to be cleaned. I've begun to play it again after some years of ignoring my guitar playing roots.Godin Bass & Guitars from Quebec![]()
If we're going to name Canadian bands, you're just getting started. A few more:A few more bands I didnt see mentioned yet:
- Big Sugar
- Big Wreck
- Harlequin
- Chilliwak
- Payolas
Oh right! I also own a Radial ProD2. So, add another product from up north in my collection of musical goodies.Radial Engineering, Empress, Diamond, Fairfield Circuitry…
I did... and I've seen Nash the Slash in person. Doug & the Slugs, too. I humped gear for Trooper, April Wine, Nash, and others when they came to Kingston and performed at the Lakeside Manor (RIP). How I missed the Headstones when they're a Kingston band... geez, but I'm not going to forget The Mahones.Zon (how many know of this one?)
If rock tinged with country and bluegrass interests you, Blue Rodeo could be up your alley. Bazil Donovan lays down a solid foundation with tasty breaks:
I take it back! I had a beer with him many years ago at the Molson Indy. He was hired to play, just him, and it was so strange that he wasn't really drawing a crowd. So my friend (a longtime, recorded guitar player) and I sat and talked with him during his break. He wouldn't accept a beer, but was great to talk to.
Nash The Slash! Good catch bro. That was cool, saw him live in a bar in the 80s and it was outlandishly good.I did... and I've seen Nash the Slash in person. Doug & the Slugs, too. I humped gear for Trooper, April Wine, Nash, and others when they came to Kingston and performed at the Lakeside Manor (RIP). How I missed the Headstones when they're a Kingston band... geez, but I'm not going to forget The Mahones.
And it seems insane but nobody including me mentioned Triumph yet.
