. . . . These four people are a band of musicians called The Beatles. I know that is not the correct spelling for the beetles insects, but that is how they spell the name of their band. It is pronounced the same, but means something different. It is about the beat of their music. They are not beatniks, but some people might think they are. They have long straight hair for boys, but not as long as girls' hair. But they wear suits and shoes like businessmen, not sweatshirts and blue jeans and sandals like beatniks. I have been listening to their music since I got a record player for Christmas and some of their records right after that. I think their music is really good.
. . . . They are from England, but they sing a lot like American singers. They were on the Ed Sullivan Show last night. I think this is the first time they ever left England and came to the United States. Three of them play guitars and one of them plays a set of drums. One of the guitars is a bass guitar and plays only low notes. And they really played their guitars and drums live on Ed Sullivan's show last night. Not like some singers who just hold a guitar, but don't really play it live. I can tell because I have been playing a guitar for a few years now. But I have never played a bass guitar before, although I think I would like to try it someday. The Beatle named Paul played the bass guitar and sang most of the songs on TV last night. I think he might be the most interesting one of them, to me.
. . . . They act very nice and smile a lot. And they play and sing very interesting fast songs and slow songs. I guess the people in New York at the Ed Sullivan Show like them a lot because they kept screaming while they played and sang, but I'm not sure why. That just made it hard to hear the songs on TV. But on records their songs are really very clear and sound very good. I've learned to play most of their songs on my guitar and sing along, but it was too noisy on TV last night so I didn't then.
. . . . I also like the astronauts going into space. I think they are very interesting people, too. But, I can't do anything like that until I grow up. But I can already play songs a little bit like the Beatles do. So, right now, The Beatles are more interesting. Their songs make me want to learn the guitar better and sing and play for my family. After the show last night my father asked me if I want to be a Beatle. I told him yes, but I don't really think that's possible. But I can still have fun learningmusic different songs on guitar. That is why they are my most interesting person.

My Most Interesting Person
. . . . My most interesting person is a group of people. There are four people in the group. They are very interesting to me for the following reasons.
