The band I was in when I left Liverpool used a 50W Vortexion PA amp. As it only had ywo mic channels I had to modify it for a third. The chassis had holes predrilled so it was an easy job. Just needed an EF86 and a couple of other components. Always sounded great.

I'm not going backwards in time to schlep more weight...my Mesa M9 weighs 28lbs, and is a flat out killin' machine.

However, that power amp is totally pimp.
