All White Gibson Thunderbird?

Anyone know what's up with this bass? Is the all white neck custom or was it a DIY job or what? Never seen one like this before. I've been eying it for a few days and have been thinking about getting it if I sell my Spector

I remember discussing this bass awhile back on another forum, pretty sure it's from the custom shop - the price is the same as a new stock finish - except of course that Gibson doesn't make them in this color anymore.

I have no idea if it's factory or not but that is the first T-bird that has made me say Wow!

I normaly don't like Thunder Birds but that one is sweet.

The Chicago bird looks like something Rick Nielsen(Cheap Trick) would pull out if he was a bass player but Tom does a GREAT job already.

It's legit.
