Here is my project almost done. Just finished putting the first coat of tung oil on.

The neck has 1/8" strips of purpleheart, 1/2" strips bloodwood and 11/13" strips of maple.
Body has a walnut core with maple/walnut/maple veneer in between the body and the curly walnut top. The fretboard is wenge.
It is a 35" scale 5 string with 19mm string spacing at the bridge.
It weighs in at just over 9lbs with no hardware.
I made the neck a bit thick to achieve better sustain. At the 5th fret it is 28mm (not including the fret). Not sure if I'll keep it that thick, I guess I'll see how comfortable it plays.
