Alternative Enclosures

I've been working on a Frog Fx-1 preamp lately and decided to do something a little different for the enclosure:

This "pedal" will form the basis for my tone and be always on, so a stomp switch isnt needed. (There will be an on/off switch in the back though) This enclosure is made by Hammond Manufacturing. Here's a link to the product page.

I'm curious to see what some of you all have used in lieu of your standard issue metal box enclosure.

While I don't make pedals myself, I love stuff like this. Ogre pedals are super interesting designs; I've seen a few pedals built into toy cars; I'm sure many people here have seen the Dr. No Turd Fuzz built into a rubber dog poo.

I 3D print stuff that goes with pedals, and even one kind of item in the shape of a pedal, but I haven't yet tried designing and 3D printing pedal enclosures - another guy here 3D prints enclosures to rehouse the Future Impact, for instance - but that could be a great thing to explore all kinds of fun shapes and such.

I've been looking into buying a future impact but that size has been one deterrent. It's cool to know that people arr rehousing them in more suitably sized enclosures.

What sort of items do you 3d print for pedals?
