I wanted to make the same thing!! I have a Kramer but I wanted a lighter, better balanced bass... I'm a 3d (automotive) modeler so I could make the model for the CNC machine myself, if I had any knowledge in luthiery

If you find any useful info to make the neck, let me know!! If I had the specs It woukd be very quick and easy to make the 3d model for you too, if you want... With custom headstock design of course
Awesome! I may take you up on some help there. I plan to learn to use Fusion 360 for the design stuff, since it's free for hobbyists.
Right away you would need to decide whether you want to create an aluminum neck through which attaches to a channeled wood body like the Travis Bean instruments do, or if you wanted to machine the entire neck / back pan out of a solid piece and then attach the top and fingerboard separately like how most of the EGC instruments seem to be done.
(Side note: I know that the EGC bass necks are hollow, but are the travis bean necks hollow or solid? I'm not sure.)
I feel like the Bean method would be easier to an extant and possibly less expensive, since there's less aluminum to be milled away (you would only need enough billet material for the neck and pickup channel + bridge mount). But maybe more complicated because of the wood work involved, that might be difficult.
The EGC method involves a hell of a lot more aluminum (I think they start with a 132 pound billet that ends up being three pounds!) so it's much more expensive but you could get the entire back, pickup/bridge mounting and neck in one piece. I assume then you would machine another piece for the top of the body and just screw them together.
The biggest question mark I have in mind right now is the tolerances of aluminum and what you can get away with, and maybe you have the knowledge! How thick do the walls of the neck need to be, and the fingerboard? How much material must there be for the neck/body joint to be solid? I've only found one video that shows a Bean guitar being disassembled so that is a giant question mark. Perhaps I can persuade a kind TB-2000 owner on Talkbass to take theirs apart and measure it?
If we're talking about a four string bass, the most string tension I would really expect the neck to be under is about 200lbs, so it's not a crazy high number that the neck would need to withstand.
I think se need to make a C shaped neck (which would be lighter), closed on the open side by the fretboard, which Is the trickiest part IMO, because you will nnot be able to hammer the frets into metal like if It was a wooden fretboard... This part must be VERY precise
Fingerboard attachment is one of the major pain points I am not sure how to address. The machine I would plan on using is a PRS shopbot alpha which IIRC can machine to about a .002" tolerance, which I assume is probably close enough for this application.
Ironically, from what I've been able to find, the fretting process with an aluminum fretboard is not actually much harder than a normal neck, you just have to be careful cutting the slots.
