I left Wisconsin this last Monday at 10am. By 9pm, they were in the middle of a 14" of snow blizzard that dumped it all within about 10 hours! I am in Hawaii for the week! Am I wrong for teasing all my friends and family about not being in 10 degree weather and that I am soaking up 80 degree sunshine here in O'ahu?
I mean there is the whole Karma thing, which I make sure I apologize for leaving my kids at home with my ex-wife and they have the stomach flu, but am I really wrong to skip out on band practice for once and be guilty while I sip Kona Ice Pale Ale on the Leni of our restaurant over looking the sunset on Waikiki?
Am I wrong??

Karma is about past/future lifetimes, and your current lifetimes choices/actions. What you do today (this lifetime) will determine your fate in a future life. What happens to you in this life is a result of your actions in a previous life.

Which means that you'll come back as dung beetle for what you've posted today. Just sayin'...

No sir, you are not wrong. Not only is it your duty to rub it in, but it is also your duty to make sure you have a shave ice everyday you are there. Might I suggest Matsumoto's in Haliewa on the North Shore. Excellent shave ice, and that part of the island is just a great vibe. You could also check out the surf, which is firing right now.

Additionally, no pics no shave ice.

Hey...as soon as you left, the temperature climbed 75 degrees and melted all the snow. It's beautiful here. Of course there is snow in the forecast for the day you're supposed to return. Sorry you missed the nice weather....enjoy Hawaii!
