Double Bass Am supposed to do anything about crack? (Fingerboard)

Or if you don't feel like going there, you can just answer here..

Hey guys wanted to get some advice on if I should even care or put something on this slight crack on the back of the neck..

It doesn't really bother me but then just got thinking if there is anything I need to do to prevent it from getting bigger..

Is this something I should put glue on to keep it from getting worse or just let it go?

the way i see it, fingerboards get replaced eventually, so the glueing would be just to prevent this crack from going anywhere and making your fingerboard replacement happen sooner than it needs to.

my cello has a similar crack. i never glued it, ive had the instrument for a few years now, hasn't budged in the slightest.
