amateur video recording - zoom B3

hi all, i'm a very OLD (40 y.o) amateur bass player and although my skills are faded since I was stopped for 20 years we recently reunited our youth band and started again playing covers. well going straight to the point: i have a zoom B3 connected to a windows 10 laptop. I use the B3 as a monitor (i ear the music and my bass from the headphones) but when i try to record my bass over a song in the headphones I hear both sounds while the final record is only my bass without the music I play under it... I hope you will understand since my english is not perfect thanks in advance to anyone wanting to help a poor old bass player

Your not old! I'm 58 and don't have a clue what your talking about however! Good luck!

Assuming you're on windows, This looks very complex, but it's basically a patch bay with level controls.

O Deus ASIO Link Pro - Linking ASIO applications, WDM Windows Audio, and audio over IP/LAN

You can patch from any running program, and device input or output to another. In combination with ASIO4ALL you can set up "What You Hear is What You Get" recording. From your B3, a audio interface, the jacks on the PC, Youtube, DAW, Windows Media Player, anything.

There are "free" programs like "Jack Audio". It was designed for Linux, works on Windows but can be more confusion to setup.
