Amazing folks here!!

I've been away from talk bass for awhile, due to rotator cuff surgery, then a hip replacement. Too many marathons...and heavy lifting!! But 75...and still alive(thank the Lord)....lol.

My only point being.....I am on quite a few forums(music, cars, guns. electronics, blah, blah).

But...never have found a nicer group of members than HERE!!

One can ask a stupid question, ask for advice, etc here...and get decent answers, always.

It is very nice to be part of this community.

I think Talkbass is the standard to which all forums should aspire. It's remarkably civil here and is a nice combination of knowledge, experience, humour and gear lust. It's terrible for my practice routine - and not so great for my bank balance - but things could be worse.

Agreed! My experience here at TB has been very much the same, simply just a great group of people!
Generosity of members and thier willingness to share thier knowledge and experience is immeasurable. Civility, humor, constructive criticisms, troubleshoots and daily share of lifes goings ons is appreciated. Inspires me to pass it forward.

Thanks @Darkhorse1 for bringing it up, and thanks to all the folks here at TB for the platform! Compared to other forums long since abandoned I think i'll sit a spell.

A couple of really nice helpful members got clobbered by the ban hammer recently. No idea what went wrong. Just don't call anyone a rube.

I have to agree 100%!
I've been on bicycle, pet, photography and other music forums, and no other forum can even come close to the helpful and kind people here at Talkbsss.

And, Talkbass has the nicest, most helpful mods, too.
Thank you, Bryan Tyler for straightening out my account a few weeks back.

In a couple of weeks I will be here 20 years.
