Pittsburgh is a really beautiful city if you can overlook the grime (like most major cities have.) It's got a few rivers that intersect between house lined hills, and a lot of interesting older architecture, including lots of neat bridges. It's much less smokey today than it was when the steel operations were at their peak.

I know you were joking, but i myself would prefer a downtown view (cities look especially beautiful from above or far away) than a boring ol' bunch of trees on hills.

I grew up much closer to the flat Philadelphia, and was always impressed with Pittsburgh's overall layout
