Nice Rainier is the local equivalent of PBR for cheap beer swillers up here in the NW. Band#1 (& dozens of others) write & rehearse in the refurbished & repurposed Old Rainier Brewery about a mile away from where I live. I share a house with a few mates, one of which does wood burnings as a hobby that is starting to turn into a little side business for him.

Your pics of #2 and #4 teles made me run inside just now and snap some of his older things hanging around, and it looks like he's working on new signage to go above his booth when he vends. Rainier is also his beer of choice

His lady who also lives here and has a very long resume of somewhat unusual skills, made these decorative little bat boxes that it looks like he added to with his hot iron >

I suppose these should be in the Amateur Picture Thread. Our home is sorta like a museum. I love it

These 3 are all close together. The first is the most photographed place on the Oregon Coast, Heceta Head Lighthouse.

There are better pictures out there. This is about 100 ft. away from the Sea Lion Caves, a fairly neat tourist attraction...if you can stand the smell!

These next 2 are Cape Perpetua Overlook; the 1st from the trail, where you can see Devil's Churn & it's trail at the bottom, & if you squint really hard, you can see Thor's well & the Spouting Horn. The 2nd is the Overlook itself, on the Whispering Spruce trail, 262 ft above the Pacific. I looked a Coast Guard heli-pilot in the eye at that very location as he flew hard off the deck, straight up the side of this hill, & rotated hard south from there. Big smile on his face, he definitely did it for show...Semper Paratus!!!
