More of an amazing event than a photo... So much pollen in the air in Durham NC, that the sky turned yellow. @two fingers - whaddaya know about this other than another reason to stay away from Durham? >
I always feel bad for the friends that have spring time allergies, but this phenomenon really takes it to another level I would imagine
This is a normal part of spring in Raleigh/Durham. The yellow haze is from the Long Leaf and Loblolly Pine. It actually doesn't cause as much allergy problems as you would think. It's just "too big" as allergens go. It is pretty nasty otherwise as it gets in and on everything making it turn yellow/green. It does/can cause itchy eyes. Not the funnest part of living around here but every place has it's good and bad.
