Birds are the coolest!
I especially like birds of prey. Once saw a falconry demo at Medieval Times...Dude had about 10' rope with meat on the end...swinging it around in a circle...Falcon soaring back and forth (Even over the crowd, and they warned you "DO NOT PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR!") and falcon swiping at the meat chunk while flying past, making shrapnel fly!
I'm from Madison, WI. When I was 18 almost anything here you could hit a baseball over.
Went to the World Trade Center that year...66th floor...was afraid to go even like 10 feet from the window. You could feel the building moving (it felt like to me anyway).
