The discovery of Neptune was a sensational moment of 19th-century science, since the existence and position of Neptune were predicted before the planet was even seen, thus confirming the basic principles of Newtonian gravitational theory. But those 19th-century astronomers were using astronomical coordinates first recorded by Galileo in 1612. The Italian polymath had correctly mapped Neptune's position more than 200 years earlier using a less powerful telescope. Galileo mistook Neptune for a star—but his coordinates prompted many stargazers who came along after him to look in the correct direction and identify Neptune.

Just kidding. I like the early Mustangs like this one that belongs to a friend and I got to drive it! '68 Shelby GT500KR convertible, 428CJ, 4-speed, and has A/C. Pretty rare even in the Shelby world. It originally belonged to the friend's daddy-in-law who bought it new when he returned from Nam. The dad's son had a pretty bad accident and demolished the front left side. He was okay. It sat in a barn for about 40 yrs. The daughter and friend had it repaired and restored for the dad's 80th birthday. I may be off a little on the timing and ages, but that's the essence of the story. Way cool!

Yes a helipad. The lighthouse was built in 1938 and the helipad much later. I read up on it after seeing the photo
