Looking at a pic like that, trying to comprehend the scale and distances you're looking at, imagining that many of those little specs of light are other galaxies and then trying to wrap your brain around how far away they actually are,.....
I'd say just about impossible to fully grasp, save for a handful of people out of 8 billion (I'm not one).
Sure, you can explain that a light year is the distance light travels in a year at a gazillion mph and I can understand the concept and know that it's,..... reeeeally far. But,.....
Anyway, I love anything about the cosmos. Fascinating and never ceases to blow the mind. I'm sure that pic was enhanced somewhat, but still, I'm glad I live in an age to see a pic that good of something so far away.
