The drive back to Switzerland one Monday Morning.
The morning fog in the valley down below us.
One Sunday night, we were driving back to Geneva across the Jura mountains. I had to take a phone call and pulled off the road. The setting sun just begged me to pull out my camera and capture the moment. That is flat land beyond, not water.
Don't believe one pic. Arctic ice has increased by 1.7 million square kilometers since 2012, and the polar bear population is rising:

I'd love to see this in person, but never seem to get that far north in Nevada.
The Fly Geyser is only about 5 feet high! The photographers that took the pics above did a good job with low angle work making it seem much taller.
What type of phone are you using? I have an iPhone 4 and doesn't get that good of a pic that can be enlarged.
IPhone 5c. The first two were definitely edited in the dreaded Instagram. The squirrel picture is older and miiiiiiiight have actually been enhanced via Adobe Photoshop after being taken by an iPhone 4. Not totally sure. It was taken at Sea World, though.
The trick to the iPhone cameras is to play with the focus (tapping on what you want in focus) and cropping the picture to get the spot that you focused on into the spotlight. Usually I have to be further away from the object I'm focusing on than I want to be in the final product. I end up getting better pictures with my phone than with my actual camera for the most part.
The last picture is my buddies, taken with a fancy DSLR and edited in Photoshop. I screenshotted and posted it from my 5c.
Fun fact: this isn't a single picture. The tree is so large they had to take multiple pictures and put them all together to get this image.
