Nice pic, being a somewhat avid railfan I have to ask if you shot it and the location - it's beautiful.

No, I did not take that great photo and I do not know where it is.

However, if you are a rail fan, I live near the famous Horseshoe Curve Railroad site where the front of the train and back of the train are across from each other, close to Altoona, PA and I live near the steepest inclined plane in the world in Johnstown, PA. (see next post)

CP locomotives, so Canada. I'd put money on the north shore of Lake Superior, Ontario.

There is another railroad fan site about 3 miles from my office in Cassandra, PA called the Cassandra Railroad Overlook.

This happened about 30 miles away from where I live.

may 10, 1869. the meeting of the east and the west at the completion of the first transcontinental railroad. Promontory Summit, Utah.
