I have the new app store downloaded and bought a couple apps from it. I am an Amazon junkie/fan anyway, so this app store is great for me. It's just like shopping on the website. I can totally see myself using this more than the Android market.

While I'm certain a marketing department can come up with another catchy name, I don't think Apple has a legitimate claim to the term "App Store", so I don't think they'd need to come up with one. I'm watching that case closely though...

There's about twelve of these officially named "app stores". Strange move from Apple, considering they've just been ordered to answer on an anti-trust case.

If you're with AT&T, don't bother:

If you have an AT&T phone or tablet, you currently can't install the Amazon Appstore or purchase apps from it. AT&T is working to allow customers to install the Amazon Appstore and purchase apps from it.

I think we all know that AT&T isn't working on ****.

Yeah, I've been meaning to make my phone a little more "accessible." Perhaps I'll wander over to XDA-developers tonight and see what's going on.
