Some pop rock band played, but they sounded like they were trying to copy the cadence of an old Duran Duran song.

When I heard this tune on the radio, my first thought was "how have they not been sued by Duran Duran yet?"

I agree, most of what I hear in current popular music is electronic, auto tuned, unoriginal, uninteresting and boring. My only glimmer of hope is that my 13 year old agrees and has an iPhone full on Coltrane, Miles, Frank Sinatra, Beatles, and great music. OF course I may have some influence there

I stopped watching them years ago--they are unimportant to me--and these days if anything interesting happens, it ill wind up on Youtube or somewhere else online
