American Professional II Jazz bass pickups

I just bought an American Professional II Jazz bass from Sweetwater and I absolutely love everything about it, except one thing.

Jazz bass pickups, being single coil, pick up RFI. The room I play in at home is full of computers and other electronic gear. I definitely hear it in the output of the bass.

I have a MIM Jazz bass that I put Generation 4 Noiseless Pickups in. I'm thinking of selling this bass now because my new acquisition has made it redundant. I'm considering a pickup swap before I let it go.

Any opinions on whether or not this idea flies? Will I hurt the tone of my American JB by switching to the Fender Noiseless pickups?

What would you do?

IMHO(!) lots of noiseless pickups sound better than Fender noiseless. Fralin, Aguilar, Delano, Dimarzio sixties, etc. Basically I think side-by-side jazz pickups sound better than stacked. Of course if you like the sound of the Gen 4, swap them in. YMMV. But if it was me, I'd go with something else.

Will you hurt the tone? No. Will you change the tone? Yes.
