Amp and cabinet covers who do you trust?

Susan over at StudioSlips.com took good care of me. The price was not cheap but I got exactly what I wanted and with fantastic customer service too. I had one made for my fEARful 1212/6.

Any reason to order from these custom makers rather then the amplifier companies that put them out themselves? In my case I am looking at cover for ampeg 6x10
Yes but the Ampeg issued covers seems to include some of the options at no extra cost as the custom makers offer. My only experience with factor issue was marshall covers that were jut dust covers. Pretty much fell apart.
Life is easier to order covers from the manufacturer of the cab if they're the nice foam with fabric lining kind with the cordura nylon outer shell. I have some from Tuki and SWR that are 20 years old. Vinyl covers don't seem to survive well for the long haul if the gear they're protecting gets moved around a lot.
My advice is buy once, cry once. I would have had to buy 3-4 vinyl covers in the time I've had the cordura shell ones.
I've got a couple of amp covers from LeCover and they do the job of protecting the amp/cab from any light wear and tear. If I was touring again, I'd use the road cases.

Odd I went looking for the 6x10 version, found the 4x10 versions but they skip right over the 6x10 option.
I have bought "Studio Slips" and "LeCover" Both are very high quality with excellent customer service. Both are head and shoulders above any of the vinyl slipcovers that commonly come as original equipment covers. I feel certain however that all factory brand covers are not created equal.
Susan and her gang made two Fearless F112 covers for me from my measurements. Very high quality and fit like a glove. Also great experience with Coveramp up here in Canuckland.
