Amp/cab “filler” blocks for stacking?

not sure if i am describing this well. i
like to stack narrower objects on top of wider ones "for reasons."

so imagine big cab on bottom (mb 104 standard on side), 70's v4b, then narrower cab (pjb c8), then second smaller amp on top (yba100).

but the c8 in this case is deeper than the v4b, and i would rather some of the weight be spread out. so i kind of want a v4b sized shelf behind (that allows cables).

any products out there? or are we looking at shelves or calling up/becoming a cabinet maker?

Is this for home use or performances. I think I understand the issue. You want to stack up amps and cabs of varying depths. And the overhang of the deeper cabinets is an issue. You need to be able to access cable hook ups and plugs and jacks.

I don't think you're going to find anything ready made here. But supporting the overhang of the C8 shouldn't be a big deal. A piece of project plywood from the store. Something to use as a leg or prop on the back side of the "Shelf" to the floor to take the weight. I'm assuming this is against a wall and the back side of the stack is out of sight.

A simple board with a leg or preferably legs on the backside would support the weigh and depth of the C8. You're essentially building a table with a leg or a pair of legs on one side only. The weight on the front is borne by the amp or cab underneath it.

A little black spray paint or ozite carpet would make the front edge of this nearly invisible from the front. The leg or legs could be mounted on hinges so that it could be folded up and stored if desired. You're probably going to want a small saw like a Sabre saw or jigsaw if you need to trim and shape the board. The legs can be anything from round wooden dowel rod which can be had up to at least an inch in diameter. To a chunk of 2 x4 painted black. A bigger challenge would be making sure if you hinged the legs that they say locked.

Version 2 would be to use insert fasteners and build a shelf. Take the legs. Add threaded rod to them. Screw them into the shelf. Maybe add a pair of appliance levelers to the floor end. It will still disassemble by unthreading the legs from the boards if you wish to store it.

Either of these only require a small cheap electric saw and a drill. One of which most people already own. If your really lucky the board will not require trimming at all.

This doesn't seem like a complex rainy weekend project.

Version 3

All plywood. The "Leg" is a plywood panel with a piano hinge and the whole thing folds. You can buy lid stays for cabinetry just like you see on chests or instrument cases. This would allow the support panel to lock in place. Although I'm not sure how much trust I would put in that.

Just aome ideas.

A little black paint or carpet and visually this would visually recede from the front.

I think you're trying too hard. I just attached 2 additional feet on the deeper cabinet lined up with the back of the bottom cabinet and have no issues whatsoever.

I'm envisioning a larger mismatch from the OP's description. But sometimes simple is obviously easier and best.
