amp crapping out...

this is my Ampeg BA115. It makes a fuzz, staticy noise when its pushing alot, or when more low bass or certain tones go through. It also sounds like total crap turned up past 7/10. i dont know how to describe it, the only thing i will say is there is a slight chance it may have gotten a little wet, was in the back of my truck in the rain for like 10 seconds until i threw it in the cab. what all can i check? basically the tone is never clean anymore, and it really seems i should be getting alot more out for the volume i have it. feel free to ask anything that will help solve this.

If it's pretty loud when it distorts, it might be the limiter gave up due to broken solder joint etc. The limiters in those are not super to start with, but they do work OK.

The static noise could be clipping coming through the horn.

Other than that, lots of possible causes.
