Amp help

i just got an Ashdown MK-500. would i be able to run that through an Aguilar DB210 without any problems. if not, what cabs in that price range would be good.

From what I have seen, the Ashdown that you describe is 4 ohm stable. (If it is this one: http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ashdown-ALMK500-Mark-King-Signature-Rackmount-Bass-Amp-Head?sku=485023)

The Aggie is either 4 or 8 ohm so you should be fine. If the Aggie is 4 ohms, then don't run another cab with it...

i know about ohms, im confused about wattage. the aggie has a power handling of 375 watts, and the ashdown puts out 600 watts.

well your probably not going to be playing that amp cranked and putting out 600 watts.

i would say it would be fine.

if it starts to fart out, you know that it isn't! but if your running it at about 400-450 watts i dont think your going to harm that amp.

just crank it all the way, and play a 2 hour set with it

yea you might want to see what others think...i dont want you to buy something and then be dissapointed.

why dont you buy another cab that has a higher wattage handling?

have anything else in mind?

the ashdown says 575-900 peak watts.

that 210 handles 375 continuous or?
