Being the noob that I am here, I searched and looked at all the stickies to see if there was anything to help me, but alas, I didn't find anything. So, forgive me if this has been talked about in the past, and I am thus fully displaying my noob sauce.
Ok, I am currently playing on an SWR California Blonde 1x12". The amp is built for acoustic instruments, but it has been working wonders as a bass amp. Here's the problem. This morning I warmed up a little while I was down stairs. I then decided to move the amp and practice session up stairs. When I get up stairs, plug the amp in, plug the bass in, but no sound. I tried a different cable, no sound. Tried a different active bass with fresh batteries, no sound.
When I turn the master volume up, I can hear the typical speaker noise that one would hear when the amp in question is turned up very loud. But for some reason there is no bass sound coming through. There isn't even a pop when taking the cable in and out of said bass while the amp is on.
So, any guesses on what might be wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
