Amp peaking but cab isn't clipping?

Hey all! My current rig is a Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 with a Darkglass Neo210 Cab. When I crank my amp is will sometime flash the 'limit' light but the cab isn't clipping and it still sounds clean. What does this mean? The Genz is rated at 375w at 8ohms and the cab is rated at 500w at 8ohms.
Cheers

The owners manual describes the operation of the limit LED and how it works. There is roughly 3dB of compliance until the output limiting circuitry the prevents the amp from hard clipping.
