Amp quit working then started working again

I was in the middle of practice when the phone rag. I put the bass down ,leaving the amp on , to answer the phone. I came back and began playing again. Two notes into it the amp shuts goes off(power switch still in on position.) the first thing i did was check to make sure the chord was plugged in which it was. I have an electric guitar and acoustic guitar amp along with the bass amp plugged into a power strip so I checked to make sure that it was still in the wall and its. then I checked the other amps to make sure they worked and they did so the power strip strip didnt blow. I un plug the bass amp from the powerstrip and plug it back in and viola! It started working again. Should i take this to a repair shop and have it checked out or just keep playing since it works now?

I had an Acoustic 270 that straight up fizzled out and died one day. No sound, nothing. Just dead. Opened it up, checked it out, no apparent burnout of components. Couple days later, tried again, still dead.
I leaned it up against the wall, and forgot about it.
6 months later I plugged it back in on a whim. Worked great. Used it for 4 more years without any problems.

Make sure you are not blocking any air ports and that the fan is working.
