Amp recommendations??

Howdy all. Newbie here. Looking for input on a pro amp. I have a 1990 reissue Gibson Thunderbird and I play in several bands. Jam rock, blues rock and covers. I have an Ampeg SVT-3 Pro run through 2 15" EV's. I like the 3 Pro but my bands are moving up in the world and I need more power.
I am also having a custom 4 x 10" cabinet with tweeter being built.
I realize that the main criteria is the type of sound I am after but I was curious if any of y'all could provide any feedback on these.

Here's the amps I am considering:

Ampeg SVT-4 Pro
Aguilar 750
Mesa Titan V-12
SWR 750-X
Hughes & Kettner 600 Bass Base

Any and all input would be appreciated. I certainly would consider other amps as well. I would prefer tube preamp/solid state power am as I am frickin' old and could not lift my old 100lb SVT 300 watt tube amp.
I'm also looking to eventually get a Dingwall AB-II but I'm pretty happy with the T-Bird right now and I feel the biggest area to upgrade is amp/speakers.
Thanks in advance.
Rock the world.

The Aguilar DB750 would be my choice. Versatile, but always a fat sound, if that's what you're after. No shortage on headroom (though none of the others on your list should have any headroom problems either).

Aguilar's "It" for me, so if I had the finances there would be a DB750--GS212 x2 in my practice space.

edit: Or an SWR 750x--GS212 x2 :D

Yeah, the Aggie 750 is a great amp - bags of pant-flapping ability, loads of headroom. Smashing gear.

I can also vouch for Gallien Krueger amps. I use a GK1001RB through a GK NEO212 cabinet and for really big halls, I have a GK 4x10 that I put on the top of the 2x12. I very rarely need the second cabinet though as then all that happens is the sound guy complains that I have too much backline volume and he has no control.

The other reason I suggest GK (seeing as you say you play in more than one type of band) is that the EQ on those amps is so controllable. You can usually find the right tone for any situation.
I play in a 3 piece heavy rock outfit and use either a Fender P-Bass or a G&L L-2000 but also play in another band playing covers ranging from the Simon & Garfunkel to Van Halen type styles and with not a lot of messing around, I can tailor my sound to whatever style I'm playing.

In the three piece rock band I just have all four EQ controls at 12 o'clock and I get what I want.

You might wanna have a look at either the 1001RB II or the 2001RB...now that's a monster.
