Amp to Speaker Watts

Yes

Calculating ohms for parallel is product over sum.

8 x 8 = 64

8 +8 = 16

64/16 = 4 ohms

You want to pay attention to wattage too, and make sure the amp isn't feeding too many wats to the speakers, but in terms of resistance alone, answer is yes.
Interesting. I've never seen the math done that way. I learned it's the reciprocal of the numbers.

1/8 + 1/8 = 1/x
0.125 + 0.125 = 1/x
1/0.25 = x
4 = x
