I'd be nice if we had a sort of dictionary of the different tones of amp equipment. Nothing big, just describing the different tones of each make, or even specific amps/cabs. That would be pretty handy for inexperienced buyers like me who haven't been around the block yet. Just a little guide to know where to look. IE, Acoustics being very thumpy and low, and GKs being growly and sharp. Or even sound samples grabbed from Youtube if someone has the time.

Tone descriptions are subjective, vids and sound sample depend on the equipment used to record and technique of the person doing the recording. All those can't tell you how a rig "feels" when each person plays it live.
